season 8 is generally the cutoff. season 9 still has a good amount of episodes but is when you start to notice definite degradation. you can ride this out into season 10 which has a MASSIVE quality imbalance which caps off with "thirty minutes over tokyo" which should be enough to make you go "alright, fuck this"

5000+ words, give or take. sometimes shorter, often longer. that's about the sweet spot i like to hit for charging 3 bucks a pop and it seems to be what people are most willing to pay
