Well well well. Lucifer had not been expecting this tonight. It's not like his club attracted the religious types, and if it did, they most certainly wouldn't be wearing their clerical collar to advertise their choice of career. The priest stood out like a sore thumb amidst the scantly clad bodies currently dancing around them. Either he had taken a wrong turn somewhere, or he was looking for a favour.

Luci was hoping for the latter. He loved so very much to dig up dirty little secrets from the holier than thou types.

"Looks like my evening just got a lot more interesting." Leaning against the bar, he eyed the Priest up. That charming smile of his ever present. "And what brings you to my fine establishment? Business? Pleasure? A bit of both?"

HIS EYES lift , taking in the arches and the high beams of the cathedral , the milky sunlight barely filtering in through the stained glass , the small puddles it creates easy enough to avoid . his steps are quiet but not made overly silent as he walks . he's not here to hunt , after all .

It certainly wasn't the surprise that some might find it to be, able to sense when something wasn't quite human about someone, even if was sometimes a shot in the dark trying to figure out why. He could feel it rather than see it. Though finding the man fangs deep in someone's neck was more than enough to answer a lot of his previous questions. "Don't let me stop you, by all means..." James uttered calmly, though a brow flinched a little as he let out a deep sigh, partly praying that he'd be true to his word. A foolish gamble maybe, but the Brit deduced that if the guy had wanted him dead, he'd already be on the floor in a puddle of his own blood by now.

The priest received only a soft hum in response as he worked to seal the wound, using his inhuman abilities to heal. ( Once his victim was persuaded to return home and forget the shocking encounter, Lucien wiped the blood from his lips, remembering his decorum. ) As he turned back to the priest, he at least appeared a little sheepish. Well that was one way for him to find out, no? He would have much preferred this inevitable conversation to happen by choice.

Stil, he wasn’t even tempted to erase his memory - fishing in his jacket for a cigarette, the relief of nicotine calling to him. James hadn’t seemed surprised. ( On the contrary, had he already somehow sensed what he was? ) Cigarette now between his lips, he sighed; wondering where to even start. Joking or not, he suspected he could actually attempt to exorcise him and he rather not have to visit Hell in such abrupt circumstances.

‘So what’s the plan, gorgeous? I could always go to the booth and confess my sins if that suits you?’

"Might wanna take a pic if you're gunna stare for so long," Odd pointed out with a smirk as he quirked an eyebrow at the priest. He didn't know WHY the priest was staring at him in particular. He briefly checked to make sure there wasn't a blood stain on any of his clothes from work, but nope. He's clear.

“Woah!” Dwight gasps as he’s suddenly scooped up like he weighs nothing. He feels arms hooking under his legs and then supporting his neck, and now Dwight was being carried like he was fragile. On instinct, Dwight clings to James, looking around frantically. He’s not sure why the sudden carry, but he trusts James that a danger posing a threat would warrant such a reaction.

Enough to scoop up Dwight and run like hell. “Are we being followed?” The witch asks urgently.
