Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice LLworld Movie Review You can clearly tell they took inspiration from the comics "Frank Miller's Batman Returns" & "Dan Jurgens' Death of Superman". I surprisingly liked Ben Affleck's performance of Batman, he did a really good job. I loved Alfred Pennyworth, great casting of the character & great rendition of him too. Did not enjoy Lex Luther, what makes Lex a worthy opponent and an iconic bad guy is his intelligence and his sanity. This version was more Joker than Lex, he was insane and quirky. Lois Lane's character was weak and poorly played, so was Superman. In the end I felt DC tried too hard, and that there was absolutely no need to retell Batman's origin story is completely unnecessary.
