Motochika found himself traversing a grassy terrain. He had been wandering for a few days, aimlessly heading wherever the wind would take him. The sun was setting and the sky deepened into a crisp magenta, with pink clouds littering the sky, the bat grew drowsy with such a pristine surrounding.
He pressed on, accompanied only by the sound of crickets in the field, and the wind blowing through the tall grass… or so he thought. Motochika noticed a figure in the distance that was fast approaching him; too fast to be a man. A horse maybe? As it galloped closer, Motochika could see a lone warrior who was mounted on the steed. The bat readied his shamisen, it was more than likely that he’s already been seen by the rider, and the land was not the safest area around with the war that plagued it.
The horse was heading straight for him, Motochika knew he stood no chance against a horseman, but maybe he could surprise him…
He hid behind some trees that were nearby, and waited for the warrior, hoping that he would just ride by, but he didn’t. He came to the edge of the forest, and rode down the line where the forest started and the field ended. He must’ve been looking for Motochika, there’s no way he could not be. The horseman rode on, not slowing down. Motochika waited for him to get close enough to his position, once he was where he wanted him he strummed out a almighty shockwave. It sent the rider flying and the horse ran off terrified. One the warrior hit the ground, Motochika rushed over to him before he could gain his footing, and brought his weapon to his neck. Examining his armour, he soon realized he wore the colours of Shu, though he didn’t drop his guard. Any fool was capable of stealing armour from any one of the 3 kingdoms armies. “So tell me hunter” he applied a little pressure to the neck of his grounded captive with his shamisen. “how does it feel to become the prey?”
