The classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich is shrunk down in these Philly Cheesesteak Sliders. They're great for parties or as a snack during the game!
Ingredients: 12 slider buns. 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Mayonnaise and ketchup for serving.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Set the pan over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. Add the ribeye steak slices to the pan and break them up as you cook them until they are browned. Put the onion and bell pepper slices in the pan and cook them until they are soft and caramelized. Cut the slider buns in half across the middle and put the bottom halves in a baking dish. Use a knife to spread provolone cheese on the bottom halves of the slider buns. Add the cooked steak, pepper, and onion mix on top. Put more provolone cheese on top of that. On top of the cheese, put the top halves of the slider buns. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sliders are warm all the way through. Serve the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders hot with ketchup and mayonnaise on the side. Have fun with your tasty Philly Cheesesteak Sliders!
