These keto bagels taste great and are a great low-carb alternative to regular bagels. They have a chewy texture and a savory taste because they are made with almond flour and cheese.
Ingredients: 2 cups almond flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 2 ounces cream cheese. 2 large eggs. Everything bagel seasoning optional topping.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 400F 200C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and almond flour in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Put the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese in the bowl. Stir the mixture every 30 seconds while heating it in the microwave until the cheese melts and is well mixed with the almond flour. Let the mixture cool down a bit, and then add the eggs. Mix until you get a dough. Split the dough into six equal pieces. Make a ball out of each piece of dough. Then, to make a bagel, poke a hole in the middle with your finger and stretch the dough around the hole to make a ring. Place the shaped bagels on the baking sheet that has been prepared. You can add everything bagel seasoning to top of each bagel if you want to. Before you put the bagels in the oven, heat it up. Bake them for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm. Let the bagels cool down a bit before you serve them. Feel free to eat it plain or with your favorite keto-friendly toppings.
