Ignis can downplay his skills in pastry as much as he likes but there’s no doubt that a classic Opera Cake like this not only taken skills but a great deal of patience. The irony of him making a coffee flavored cake is not lost on him, but a man must play to his strengths and Ignis knows his caffeine. Chocolate is perhaps the worst medium to work with but stained sleeves aside, Ignis pipes “Lucis” in neat cursive across on each bar of cake.
“If I haven’t said enough already I want to thank you for coming this morning, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to be my photographer.” Ignis says taking the plates he needs for final presentation.
