• he’s actually a low paid cook for the wayne gala event! they don’t get paid a lot sadly

• damian hated the normal dishes and appetizers rhat were normally cooked. they tasted bland and boring. he was going to go and complain to the chefs now

• damian had a sensitive stomach as well, + his dietary restrictions didn’t help. if he had to endure this shitty event, he wanted some food to eat

• once walking in, waiters let him through, rushing out to not feel the youngest waynes wrath, the chefs all turned away and busied themselves, except..

Jon: are you supposed to be in here..?

Chef 1: did he just-

Damian: I’ll be in here if I want to be in here. I’m here to tell you to make better appetizers, half of them aren’t vegan friendly

Jon: oh. uh. okay. here, cmere- I was preparing one, this is a sweet potato and avocado bite

• damian tried it. and loved it. why did he love it

• he came here to make fun of and critique the shitty cooking these supposed “good” chefs made. yet here he was.

• damian didn’t know how to feel

• all he knew was that he needed to make sure this chef came to all the events now

Jon opened the door to his house and found that it was dark and eerily silent. His shoulders slumped when he realized that his fluffy dog had not met him at the door, which meant he had escaped. He glanced across the street and could see that her bedroom light was off. He shut the door to his house and locked it again before making his way to her house. He found the key over the threshold and let himself in, tucking the key back in place. Ghost soon joined him and began dancing around his feet. He crouched down and buried his fingers in his fur, giving him scratches before he locked the door and made his way through to her bedroom. There were a lot of boxes, mostly clothes she was donating, as she was preparing to make room for Jon in her house. He stripped out of his clothes on his way to the bathroom, needing to wash the smell of food off of him. He had expected to find her at his, that evening, but her shower more than made up for an disappointment he might have felt.  He quickly washed, dried, and joined her in bed. She immediately rolled into him and he could feel her smiling against his throat. “You’re so warm,” she muttered. “And your feet are freezing,” he chuckled as he placed a kiss on her head. “What brought you back here?” “Wanted to get more sorting done,” she said softly. “I wish we could live together already.” He yawned and held her tighter to him. “I’ll go to my house and start packing while you’re at work.” She shook her head. “You sleep. We’ll worry about your place once this one is sufficiently cleared out.” “It will go faster if we’re both working at the same time,” he offered. She squeezed him a bit tighter. “Excellent point. Now hush so we can sleep and I can shag you before I go to work.” He chuckled. “We can do that now.” “Sleep,” she said as she put her hand over his mouth and he chuckled. “You’re so bossy when you’re sleepy,” he teased. “Yes. Sleep.” She tucked her body firmly against hers and soon she was back to sleeping softly. He rested his head against hers and let her deep rhythmic breathing lull him under as well.
