A transplant from Brooklyn, NY, Ryan now calls Bow, Wa home. She has worked in the field of bespoke dining and food–centric events for the last seven years. As a child in Warrenton, VA, Ryan first developed an interest in food through her mother’s organic health food store, The Natural Marketplace. She went on to attend the Natural Gourmet Institute of NYC and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. As a recipe writer and product developer, Ryan has consulted for restaurants on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua, in Munich, Germany and Paris, France.
