I was on the phone with my mom for an hour and a half while writing down what I need for lab tomorrow and I’m still not finished. I was writing the whole time, scribbling a lot because I really stopped caring about how my legible my lab notebook is like the second week and I just want to get this done with. But it’s annoying mostly because I spent time before looking up the stuff I needed and already started to write stuff down, and there’s still more to look up and write down.

Also, I need to do a lab report which is going to take even more time. To top it all off, I have class at 8 AM tomorrow and lab in the afternoon which is just a pretty long day in general. This is supposed to be a 2 credit class. This is a lab class. This shouldn’t be consuming too much of my time. I thought I could get this done after a group meeting tonight, but it’s ending up to be a lot more work than I expected, because I think procedure length-wise and chemical information wise, this has taken up the most time so far this semester. I hope next week’s isn’t too bad because I’m super busy next week too with a bunch of prelims, papers, and review sessions.

Also, I need to learn the mechanism for the lab report I need to write because the professor never went over it lecture, and we’ve just started carboxyl chemistry in orgo, so I’m not sure what the product should be and if the IR I took of it is even reasonable. So, I don’t know how long I’m going to sleep tonight, and tomorrow’s going to be a long class day like all of my Wednesdays. Sigh.

I spilled an unknown substance onto my calculator in lab and now the keys are stuck together. It's safe to handle without gloves, but it's only day one of lab. I think I should also take into account that half my calculations ended in 666.

So... Forgot to put my answers on the scantron for my last chem test and after a few days of discussing it, they've decided to just give me a zero on that test and hope the final's grade will replace it

i'm so frustrated

this class is hard enough as is and I spent so much time studying for that test....
