Problem: Opaque water
What I should have done: Googled opaque water. Found out that there are tiny little bubbles in my tap. Gone to bed.
What actually happened: Smelled water. Observed a stronger than usual chloride odor. Tried to remember precipitates formed from chloride ions. Silver chloride! Quickly dismissed the idea that Ethan was poisoning me with silver nitrate. Tried to figure out why silver would get into tap water. Researched health effects of silver. Looked at pictures of argyria. Looked up Worcesters water testing reports. Made plans to obtain a water testing kit. Swore I would only drink bottled water as long as I lived here. Finally decided to google 'opaque water'.
