It was a very long night in the ER last night due to a fever. I’ve never seen the ER as crazy as it was and felt really bad for all the nurses and doctors working. They were literally running around for a couple hours with people coding and some really upset patients yelling, cursing, and throwing things. I felt like we were in an episode of the ER television series because everything going on just seemed so crazy. Had it not been so crazy we wouldn’t have had to be there so long so it’s a good thing Rob brought something to keep himself entertained. I was surprised that they didn’t start any fluids while we were there. But we started a course of antibiotics and Benadryl, since my body hates all antibiotics, and then I got to go home. I am happy to be home snuggling with my little girl.
