Chemy Base ===> Chemy Final

Are those things that are coming out of the Geats IX Chemy supposed to represent the cape?

Wasn't the cape the part of the suit that represented the tails of the Nine-Tailed Fox?

Did the tails... transfer from where tails are supposed to be to his nape/neck or he just have 18 tail-like things trailing behind him?

This is so funny!

Aside from the questionable design choices for the Geats IX Chemy, that and the Bujin Sword Tycoon has the most significant changes in terms of chemy design from base form to final form.

There's the obvious addition of the sword on the mouth and the overall color scheme change.

The Bujin Sword chemy sports the same design as the Bujin Sword suit.

The Bujin Sword chemy also sports a muffler/scarf, which I'm still racking my head over what the scarf represents from the Bujin Sword suit.

Apart from the color scheme changes and some subtle change in accessories, the Na-go Chemy doesn't have any major changes from it's base form to its Final Form

Same with the Na-go Chemy, the Buffa chemy also don't have many changes apart from his new color scheme and one new accessory. It now sports a golden cloth on its back with golden, undamaged horns, spiked thingies on its neck, legs and tail.

We can't forget the golden eyes.

Kotetsu Toys Japan out here coming in clutch as always.

this time I managed to pickup the Daybreak File and Chemy Card set (missed out on it originally, though I snagged the driver at the time), the proper Marvelous Rare Legend (had the promo version this whole time, now I officially own every MR), and Parallel Kuuga.

the WrestlerG, Ixa, and hilariously appropriate Daybreak Gotchard (as well as a poster for the Gavv and Gozyuger movies, not pictured here) were the freebie bonus includes.

I was wondering if you've seen the alt. artwork for the Chemies?

Legend Riders all have alt artwork for their cards, but there are too many to put here.

Ok, I'm gonna go through each card and what I think. Nothing too detailed, just what some brief thoughts.

Hopper1 - I like the dynamic posing. The kick pose is, of course, a reference to EVERYTHING.

Steamliner - It's OK. I like how the art is more about the sights, but Steamliner doesn't feel like the focus here.

Skebows - I like how it's propped up against a wall of graffiti. It's fitting.

Apparebushido - Like Skebows, I like how the art style is fitting for this Chemy.

WrestlerG - Also a fitting scene for the Chemy. A celebration of winning the title belt.

Antrooper - Way too detailed for my liking. As much as I like some bugs, I didn't get into studying them because of how they look under a microscope.

Hawkstar - Now, this is a good use of detail. I feel like this is something you'd see on a faded t-shirt. Or airbrushed on the side of a party van.

Saboneedle - It’s ok. For a Chemy used in an episode plot, they didn't get creative with this alt artwork. I think the in series design is more dynamic.

Mechanichani - This is a fun design. Like something out of a children's book or amusement part right. I'm expecting this Chemy to sign how life under the sea is so great.

Golddash - My favorite out of this group. This design is so cool. It looks like the cover of an action movie. With some mystery elements.

Raidenji - I like how this one is creative. At the end of the day, the Chemy IS designed after a mass-produced item.

Junglejean - This one is ok, too. One thing I like is the creative placement of the category icon.

I got a few asks like these backlogged. So I'm gonna answer them when I get the chance with more of my thoughts.
