It is most definitely a romantic film with some pretty cool fight scenes. Some of the effects are a bit tacky but it is still a great production and worthwhile to watch. I find it great that it is a sequel yet it stands on its own, there's no need to even know there's a movie before this one to enjoy it and fully understand it.
