1. what was your most recent dream?

It was a very confusing dream which I woke up from a couple of times last night. I think my grandma may have been in it and there was something with like a house or travelling or a job? I’m not sure. A couple nights ago Chanyeol may have been in my dream though

3. a random funny memory

Okay I’m not sure if this really counts but every time I go to an EXO concert, I see a Sehun stan somewhere that’s not at the venue (and not Logan). Like, I saw one while waiting for my flight to LA - then I saw another on my flight back home! Which was surprising, what a coincidence. And also in Vancouver last year there was a Sehun stan at the mall too. It’s kind of funny because it’s always Sehun stans?

4. an unpopular opinion you have?

I’m not sure if I have any? There’s so many different opinions on so many different things, I don’t know :/

5. do you write on the first page of a new notebook?

Yes (usually, it depends if that page has lines or not or something)

6. what was a fave song you used to listen to (or still do) when you were younger?

I wasn’t really into music that much when I was younger? Although there were some songs but

Hm... Overdose...? I always forget how much I love Overdose? But also Monster... and Call Me Baby... but Love Me Right!! Anyways.

The least? Hm... like neon yellow/orange, maybe?

10. gush about why you love your bias(es)

Jongdae is just such a sweet and caring and sincere person? Like, he’s so lovely and not only does he have such a lovely voice, but his personality as well. He has this warm feeling to him, like sunshine. I’ll redirect you to this post where I say more hahah. The thing is like, friendships are really important to me, so when I first saw that radioshow, of how touched Jongdae was when his friend called... when I saw how he was such a caring friend to have, that’s what made him my bias. I fell in love with him a bit then hahah. I’m about to repeat everything I said in the post I linked, so I’ll end it with this: he’s so genuine and sweet and he’s so - really I can’t even think of the right word, he’s just Kim Jongdae, you all know what I mean. This wonderful person, who is so passionate and hardworking and caring (and gorgeous okay we all know that) and skilled/talented and lovely and he’s just so wonderful.

Baekhyun! He is so strong and positive and he’s really a light. The feeling he gives off is this bright, happy feeling that takes away everything else and it’s just so wonderful? He’s such an amazing person who’s been through so much and look at him now, having overcome it all. He’s so fun and thoughtful and I really love him. The way he takes care of the people around him, how he’s so outgoing and genuine and he’s really like the sun - warm and bright and always present. He’s so incredibly sweet to EXO Ls, and he’s so precious. I want to continue but I’m just not finding the words at the moment? It’s this feeling he gives off. Like, who he is - you all know right? Baekhyun is Baekhyun, he’s such a good and sincere person who works so hard and as I said before, he’s been through a lot right? I think it was 2014 when all that stuff was happening. But then look at him now, how he shines so bright and happily like the brightest star in the sky - of course there are times when he’s tired, and he can’t be happy all the time, but he always shows a positive image, he’s always trying to (and succeeding in) making others laugh He’s really strong and it’s admirable and inspiring. Whenever I hear him sing, it makes me happy. Whenever I think of him, it makes me happy as well. I’m so glad to have seen him in concert twice already, his stage presence, the way he moves, he’s mesmerizing. Also I love the way he talks, and he’s always making noise, and he’s so enthusiastic and lively and he’s cute and as well, he doesn’t think he’s handsome but has he seen himself? Although to me looks aren’t that important (since it’s the personalities I fall for first), but I hope he gets more confidence about himself in that way, because he really is handsome. And the way he sings... I could go on.

Chanyeol and Yixing (yes I’m putting them together because for a part I have the same thing to say) both inspire me? Like, all of my boys inspire me to be a better person and be who I want to be, and to live my life the way I would like to. But these two also inspire me like, musically/artistically? I used to be in concert band for six years, but... there was a point in my life where I just lost all my passion for everything? Like I have a keyboard, I learned piano for a year, but then I just stopped. But these two actually make me want to continue learning it? And not only that, but to actually write music as well? I haven’t been doing it much because my printer isn’t working and it’s difficult just looking at the music on my phone, but. It’s still there. I’m actually feeling more musically inclined again, and motivated and inspired to do the things I used to love to do. They’re both so passionate and hardworking, and they compose and write songs and play them, and it somehow makes me want to get back to doing stuff like that. Seeing them both pursuing what they want to do, it makes me feel more motivated to continue with things I used to be passionate about.

Due to the lack of Chen on all our dashes I am back with another 'challenge' for our lovely standom. Name a random thing you love about our Chenny which is not commonly mentioned. Can be a body part, a personality trait, a quote or whatever that comes to your mind. We all love his voice and his kindness, but there's so much more to love. Send this to your favorite Jongdae stans & let's keep spreading our love and admiration for our cute talented boy 💓

His commitment. I remember this one interview, I think it was a previous vocal instructor of his talking about him and he mentioned how Jongdae got a surgery to remove a part under his tongue that would make him able to sing with more… technique or something, I can’t remember exactly. But that is dedication. He knows what he wants to do, and he pursues it, and he does it. He’s passionate about singing, he always wants to improve and be better, and it’s admirable. Remember how he wrote She’s Dreaming, and he (I think it Minseok who commented on this?) stayed up an entire night completely focused on writing the lyrics, of shaping the song into what he wanted it to be. And it turned out so lovely. And when he was monthly Chen, releasing a song every month and making himself more well known as a vocalist. He’s pursuing his dream and making it grow, and he’s worked so hard to get to where he is now.

Also, how he’s such a caring friend. Remember that radioshow where his friend called him? And during the EX’ACT showcase (where Leeteuk kept calling Jongdae and Minseok a couple and he was being so cute yelling in denial, it was funny), Minseok’s story about Jongdae standing over his bed putting towels over the dripping air conditioner. And then when he was talking about how he and Baekhyun got into SM and EXO together. He’s really sincere, from what we can see, with his friendships and with everything he does.

I love his laugh and his smile and how he gets defensive in that cute way (like how I mentioned above, the showcase), and when he talks to EXO L whether it’s just comments while on stage or if he’s shouting his “saranghaja!” or something in the middle of a performance, or when it’s like he’s actually in a conversation with the fans at a concert or performance, or at a fansign. I love when he shares a rare selca because even though it’s not often, he does it so we can see him when we’re missing him, and I love how he tries to make eye contact with every fan at a concert, and the way he looks at EXO L and how we can tell he so genuinely appreciates his fans. He is so lovable and endearing, with the way he talks and the way he whines and the way he puts in so much energy and effort into his career and his performances, into his vocals and his dancing, and how he’s improved so much.

elves + chingu line (can it be more than 2 ppl lol)

me blatantly writing christmas drabble requests two months after christmas. this is fine right? LOL

It was the first day of winter break and Kyungsoo was so relieved to finally be done with finals and exams and just school in general. Thank goodness for college and not having any projects over break. He could finally relax and just enjoy the three weeks of snow, bliss, netflix, and hot chocolate. Maybe catch up on some reading if he was feeling especially cozy. 

Unfortunately for Kyungsoo, Baekhyun and the crew had other plans. He’s not sure how he ended up adopting three beagles as his best friends, but here he was being dragged by his arms through the mall to some back hallway that led to a changing room on a Saturday morning.

It was Baekhyun’s idea that they all dress up as elves at the local mall to help out with the Santa photos. Kyungsoo wanted no part of it, but between Jongdae’s whining, Chanyeol’s puppy eyes, and Baekhyun’s constant nagging (and his lethal pout)- he figured why not? He could make some extra cash at the end of it.

Kyungsoo regretted his life decisions the moment his toes and head started jingling. There were bells all over his body. Decked out in red and green was definitely not a look for him and he was 500% sure he was gonna kill the three others by the end of the day. Truth be told, Baekhyun and Jongdae were definitely born to be elves- both of them were mischievous beyond compare but they could dazzle the camera with their smiles like no tomorrow. They were both very short too... not that Kyungsoo could comment considering he was even shorter. Chanyeol on the other hand... why Chanyeol ever decided he was cut out to be an elf is an anomaly to Kyungsoo. Well... sort of... he had the ears for it. 

The day started easily enough. There weren’t a lot of kids coming to get their Santa pictures taken. Just a few moms who were doing early Christmas shopping that had their toddlers dressed up to take pictures and that was it. Surprisingly enough, the kids weren’t too hard to handle either. Baekhyun and Jongdae were doing a great job at assisting Santa and making the kids laugh. Those two were the perfect duo. Kyungsoo was in charge of taking the parents’ money and directing the kids where to go and Chanyeol was in charge of taking pictures after he got tired of every kid asking why he was so tall and he couldn’t possibly be an elf. 

Kyungsoo figured this job was easy enough and that it wouldn’t be so bad to do this with his friends for the rest of the season.

He was wrong. 

It was two days before Christmas and there was a line that wrapped around the entire Santa Winter Wonderland display in the center of the mall where the pictures were taking place. So many parents and even more kids who were whining and screaming and getting impatient with the holiday season. Kyungsoo was not a kid person. He wasn’t too fond of children in general. Too sticky and too touchy for his liking. But so far it hadn’t been so bad. Just the regular crying kid that was afraid of strangers.

The next kid in line caught his attention. His face was slathered in peanut butter, his clothes were in disarray, and his eyes looked like they could tear apart the souls of babysitters. Kyungsoo knew this kid was going to be trouble. His parents didn’t seem all that invested in watching over him either.

And boy was he right. Kyungsoo watched from behind the cash register podium as he directed the child and his parents to the Santa sled where Jongdae and Baekhyun were waiting for him. The moment he saw the two, the little kid ran up to Baekhyun and punched him in the stomach and then pulled Jongdae’s hat off and threw it across the holiday displays. Peanut butter face clambered up onto Santa’s lap and instantly pulled off Santa’s beard and started screaming. The parents just looked on with open mouths without intervening at all. It only got worse when Chanyeol tried to help the other two in calming the kid down and the kid ended up smacking Chanyeol in the face when he leaned down to talk to him. Unfortunately for Chanyeol, he was allergic to peanuts so he started breaking out a little bit. 

If that wasn’t bad enough, Kyungsoo thinks the peanut butter was finally catching up to the kid because he ended up vomiting all over Santa’s lap.

Safe to say the Santa photos were postponed for a few hours for Santa and his elves to clean up the mess and Kyungsoo carefully took Chanyeol to get some medicine for his allergic reaction.

By closing time, Santa’s little helpers were making their way out to Chanyeol’s car and Kyungsoo could only laugh when he heard Baekhyun cry out,

“We are never doing this again.”
