If you really think bts is better than exo and exo-cbx then I am going to have to unfollow you. Jongdae didn`t work his ass off for you to disregard it and say it is boring and samey
wow this got long i’m so sorry, i will not blame you in the slightest if you don’t read this, there is a tldr.
oh don’t get me wrong, i’ve loved what exo-cbx (honestly how could i not i’ve wanted this exact sub-group since i began stanning exo i am so happy) and what exo as a whole have put out recently, and i know that they will have worked incredibly hard to make it as amazing as it is. i just personally felt like sm is pushing certain concepts too far and too long with exo and it would be nice to see them do more of their solo stuff/subgroups with you know, more time inbetween concepts because holy crap these guys need to rest etc etc. and it would be nice to see more stuff from them personally rather than from the company because they’ve made it abundantly clear that they’re talented enough and have the wish to share their own stuff more so idk. i’m just more interested in the music exo themselves are creating and am running out of the kind off enthusiasm i used to be able to summon whenever sm presented me with a new song via exo. does that distinction make sense? i don’t know if it does but it’s nearly 4am i promise i’m trying anonnie.
(also i appreciate what you’re saying and i know this is kinda pedantic but jongdae doesn’t do what he does purely for me and i’d just like to make the point that he doesn’t know i exist and therefore my enjoyment of anything really has no bearing on him personally whatsoever but if we’re gonna go into what jongdae would want then i’m fairly certain he’d be okay with me liking another groups music too and wanting them to be shown appreciation too?) i certainly didn’t mean to disregard the work he does. just merely state my current enjoyment of the hard work other groups are putting in and would like to see them appreciated for. as for whether i prefer it to exo’s stuff - i honestly haven’t thought about it and don’t think i need to?? like ultimately i enjoy both groups music and i don’t see a problem with that or the need to analyse the extent to which i like the music im listening to?? maybe that’s lazy of me idk if people normally do that or not. but i don’t think i have to enjoy everything any group puts out, no matter who they are and be any less of a fan or be disregarding their work just because of my personal music taste and opinions. i feel like that doesn’t read coherently and i’m really sorry because i really don’t want you to misunderstand something that was said half in jest you feel me? please let me know if you want something clarified i will get back to you asap i have an exam in two days im a tad hectic but i will make sure i get back to you if you do.

eh, i love exo, both the music and the band, i love bts, the music as i currently know next to nothing about the band. i don’t feel qualified to sit here and say one group is more qualified or deserving of an award - they have all worked incredibly hard, i would just personally like bts to win something as well as exo and given that exo is currently topping all their categories and will win something (lets face it, it’s a certainty at this point), i would like to encourage people to vote for bts too i have issues with sm and the way with which they are promoting exo, which is making me, as a fan, less receptive and enthusiastic than i used to be, which i consider a shame. unfollow me if you wish no one is stopping you, however i do value my followers highly so it would be sad to see you go but live your life darling and if it’s better without me in it then that is fair enough i can respect that and i really hope you have a good evening/night/day. xx
