I really imagine Chenford babies looking like Havana Rose Liu, or like Devon Aoki’s kids. Hazel eyes are an option for their kids! I hate when I read fics who cast their kids are mostly white looking :/

saw u had girl dad! tim inspo, what abt a him taking her to a daddy/daughter dance??
Now here’s the thing, the whole time leading up to the dance, Tim is a little uncomfortable with the whole thing. The thought of spending a whole evening with a bunch of middle aged dads and their tiny princesses? Not his ideal Saturday evening. But Jade is so excited. She hasn’t shut up about it since she found out what a daddy daughter dance *was*.
“Me and my daddy are going to a special dinner this weekend!” She’s told just about everyone.
“We’re going to wear fancy clothes like in mommy and daddy’s wedding pictures!”
The night of, Lucy teases him as he fidgets with the suit jacket.
“I can’t believe I’m wearing a tux to hang out with 20 5 year olds…”
“Yes but think about how excited *your* 5 year old is about this! She’s been so mad at us for not inviting her to our ‘fancy party’ for years.”
Tim softens a bit at that. Jade loved his and Lucy’s wedding photos, and threw a fit when she found out she hadn’t been invited—even though she wouldn’t be born for another year or so.
“And she looks *super* cute.” It’s as if the word ‘cute’ spawns the girl.
“Daddy!! Look at me in my dress!” Jade twirls around in her qipao inspired toddler dress; it was in a light blue with navy blossoms covering it. A matching blue to his tie. He smiled; he couldn’t help it. She did look super cute. Like someone put Lucy in the dryer.
“Ooh! Okay let me get a picture!” Lucy pushes them in front of the fireplace, the wedding picture above them.
Tim picks Jade up, and presses a raspberry to her cheek and she squeals, “you look beautiful, Bug.”
“Thank you daddy!” Jade giggles.
Lucy snaps a few pictures before Tim insists it’s time to leave, but Jade insists herself on seeing one of the pictures.
She gasps. “LOOK!” She points at the last one taken. Then she points to the picture above the hearth.
“Just like Mama and Daddy.”
This is Tim Bradford coded. 100% taking his girl to the concert, actually planned the whole thing, planning a surprise for his girl but also refuses to be subjected to a pop concert with two preteens by himself. The only difference is that I don’t think Lucy would need to be convinced to go with. But she would tell him he should make it a daddy/daughter thing.
Next season, I’d better get so much domestic fluff Chenford, like, they’d better get back together stronger than ever and they move in together and we have more Chenford in the mornings and evenings and Tim making breakfast and Lucy making dinner and lots of soft kisses and lazy kisses and baby calling and Kojo and Tim looking at rings probably, towards the end of the season. Like, I wouldn’t mind Lucy and Tim getting the camera time Bailey and Nolan get. I know Nolan is technically the main character but why not make it more of an ensamble because tbh I don’t care about Bailey and Nolan and I could actually just watch an entire show about Lucy and Tim just being cops and in love and living a life together.
As you could maybe tell, I’ve been reading a lot of depressing fanfic lately……in need of some fluff probably
Mother’s Day at the Chen/Bradford home starts with Lucy being woken up by a small commotion in the kitchen as 5 year old Jade and 2 year old Ivy do their best to help their dad with his signature pancakes.
The middle of the day has the whole family (Kojo included) taking a hike, where Ivy stops to pick up every cool rock she sees and shows it to Lucy.
Later, after handmade cards and hand picked flowers are given, Lucy and the girls take a nap on the couch and Tim takes 100 pictures.
For dinner, Tamara stops by and brings *more flowers* and Lucy’s favorite wine and Tim orders a sushi boat.
And that night, even though they’ve both sort of grown out of it, Jade and Ivy sleep smushed between Lucy and Tim as Lucy gushes about how much fun she had and Tim basks in how much he loves his girls .
Tim calls Lucy and his daughters’ baby, Tim is a girl dad.
Should I post a blurb from my Chenford WIP???????? It’s just a fluffy future oneshot about Tim appreciating the life he has now with Lucy and his kids…..
I’ve had some inspiration……writing a fic maybe….chenford inspires me so much and oomf sent me a bunch of AI renderings of Chenford babies and I can’t help it. They inspire me!!! Thanks @supersqcorp-nebula so much for sending those 🤪
