Met Gala fanart because I'm a sucker for black and white fashion 😩

I'm still not a fan of this year's theme, but I think some of the fashion was better than last year and wanted to celebrate the looks I liked!

Wanted to draw more ppl (esp Jenna Ortega + Brian Tyree Henry) but my hand was starting to cramp up 😔

I really can’t believe more people didn’t talk about Cardi B at the Met Gala. Not only was she one of the best dressed guests, but she wore not just one amazing outfit, but three. The commitment to the theme was amazing and she looked great in every singe look.

My absolute favorite look was the one she wore on the carpet. I’m just so obsessed with everything. The grey wig and the headband looked amazing. I don’t even know what the material of the dress was, but the shiny rosettes just looked amazing. I thought it was a great homage to the theme and looked amazing.

Once inside, Cardi changed into a tweed like dress, which was another great homage to Chanel. I thought the pink and black pattern just looked amazing. It was on theme and looked so cool. I also loved people wearing pink since Karl Lagarfeld hated the color, I do think the choice to honor him was a misstep.

Cardi’s outfit for leaving the hotel almost dis the opposite of honoring Karl, which I’m here for. The pink color was seen again. I loved the drama of this dress. , the low neckline, the train, and all those flowers. Just really insane craftsmanship. Cardi really shined at the Met Gala.
