A dramatic coming of age ball. A rich young master and a begger who pretended to be a good servant. A very important lost piece of jewelry. This is a short story, and I think you already know how it ends.

Noah is a cocky, gorgeous blond jerk. His personality is he's poor and he's bitter about that. He was taken in by a criminal group because of his looks. They're all he has in this life.

He became a tutor, once. For a rich young boy. They became close friends. Now, that boy is about to come of age. Noah wants to return the important heirloom necklace he stole, so he attends as a waiter.

The new master of the house finds him.

By the way Noah remains rude and crude through the whole entire story. That's the one unique thing about this. He is not misunderstood or secretly sensitive. He is just a gutter rat. A mean one. Him returning the necklace is clearly because of his weird relationship with Henry...which is very weird...

Henry's obsession with him is unexpected.

They drink together and chat about the good old days. Henry was lonely. Noah was fun. Henry used to get whipped when Noah made mistakes on his schoolwork. Noah made more mistakes on purpose because he loves the scars all over Noah's body.

You know normal stuff.

Henry did catch him stealing. He was supposed to die, but Henry had the weirdest fascination with him (and hurting him) from day one. He doesn't want Noah dead or anything, but the scar fetish gets pretty extreme.

Noah is generally annoyed by Henry's freakish crush.

He tells Henry he has to grow up, marry, and be a good noble man.

Henry drugs him and ties him up, which seems like a no.

Noah struggles, but Henry didn't think he'd get this chance. He didn't think Noah would be dumb enough to come back to visit. There's no time to waste.

He tells Noah he can have it all.

Money.

Power.

He can be a spoiled male mistress forever.

It's an offer he can't refuse....under any circumstances...

More creepy musing about the scars. How romantic.

Noah also kinda had feelings for him, which is messed up for MANY reasons, but he agrees. Presumably they live happily together while Henry's actual bride suffers horribly for the rest of her days.

I told her I loved 90s style and asked her to feel free to put on any design she liked. She’s lazer-focused in her work, she spent a long time on every meticulous detail, she made me feel like I was special. I sat there feeling like a celebrity. The salon is cozy and unpretentious, EunKyung and her team are art focused, warm and genuine people. And the part I loved the most? When she told me that even after all these years and all these nails, she still loves her job. Who can ask for more in life? Yes it’s on the expensive side but this is a trend setting world famous artist right here! It’s worth every penny. For an AMAZING beauty experience, go book a appointment with her.
