One week ago I made a post about CSR having their first Music show win on Music Bank and I want to make a little update to whether their ranking changed or not:

From the day later with Show!Music Core their ranking hasn’t moved to much fourth in the other music shows too.

However they kept a similar one on Music Bank. Today they are 3º, after Itzy and Red Velvet. When the MC announced their position in 3º place(so far) the crowd notably cheered showing support.

Despite being 3º in rankings they performed much earlier, leaving almost 10 other contestants after them. This is a little unexpected to me because some of those contestants (mainly the males) weren’t even in the top 20 list. But as I already explained, it must be because they usually show the contestants based on who’s the most expected on,which is also a matter of popularity and as much rising they are, their fanbase is loud but still smaller than the others.

As soon as their performance started, there were cheers (like for most popular groups that came after them), Yuna in particular received some consistent screams from 1/2 people.

It’s crazy how until last week or earlier this week CSR was still struggling as a nuguish group and they were the 4º out of 18 artists to perform on Music Bank but suddenly they topped the charts and they not only managed to be nominated but also to literally get their very first win and once again, they got it on MUSIC BANK!

Music Bank is the most important Music Show and the hardest to win.

And it doesn’t end there, the fact that it happened today is shocking itself because today other big groups made their comeback: P1harmony,ITZY,Kara and Red Velvet! Those are all big names. And yes, admittedly their chances itself were slimmed down because it has been 2/3 days since each of them released their comeback and MB’s way to count might have not favorited that little time, but 3 days is still considerably enough for such groups, it’s not like they all had the comeback the previous day.

The fact that I woke up later because I messed up the alarm time and I was surprised that CSR’s performance still wasn’t posted after 40 minutes but the others were and after a little they had the interview with the MCs and those mentioned that they were nominated for a win today ?!?! And I still didn’t expect them to be the very last group to perform after P1harmoney,ITZY,Red Velvet and Kara! They literally closed the show today! This is quite a huge thing in Musuc Shows because they put the “least expected” first and leave the best for the last. It isn’t necessarily that precise and they mix things up a little bit but it essentially is that. It isn’t necessarily about who has the highest chances to win but more who the public expects. Of course the nominees are always between the last 4~ to perform even between more famous ones.

And you know what the best thing about their performance was? The cheers. I have been saying it since months ago (I literally made a post about how great their debut was and that people should look more into them), their cheers get higher with every performance and I have the impression that they genuinely gain fans when they appear at Music Shows. Today their cheers were as loud as ever.

Another amazing thing is that since probably many people tuned in to support those other big groups - there were other big-medium groups like VeryVery and Jo1 but these it was the first comeback performance for these others and they are quite big compare to the others - which means that they also got a lot of exposure and many people had seen their performance.

CSR makes their first comeback since their charming debut earlier in 2022 with fresh and energetic “TiCon”!

It is really satisfying watching all the few(so far) performances of CSR and noticing that although they are still quite nugu, they have been receiving great reviews from viewers and their fan base has been growing a bit each time as the fan chants get louder and more confident.

They definitely won’t be nugu at end of the year and even if they might still be a bit unknown, they still might definitely will have a loyal fan base.
