no no no my friend, no one deserves it more than cher!!! using this movie to play donna’s mom, a character who canonically is dead in the first movie, only to show up for the last 15 minutes of the movie, be a diva, sing fernando by abba at andy garcia and then use the film to release a full abba cover album is actually the PERFECT thing for cher to do!!! its fucking FUN and goofy and camp and so fitting for a woman who has given an incomprehensible amount to culture!!!
