How did he manage to get himself in this mess? That’s right, he had been in the wrong place at the wrong time and now here he was helping one of the gang members get stitched up. It wasn’t really like he had a choice in the matter, not with a gun being pointed at him that is, so even if he were to try and say ‘no’ he knew that it wouldn’t end well for him. That was the thing with these gangs, they would use violence to threaten others, get others to do what they wanted no matter what. Alex on the other hand didn’t really care for the gangs nor did he really try to pick a fight with them either.
When it came to him he just mainly stuck to himself, kept on decent terms with those he ran into and continued his medical studies like he should. He was still determined to become a doctor, though he still had a bit to go with his studies so technically he wasn’t licensed at the moment, though he didn’t exactly make that fact known to the gang who had abducted him for this whole situation he was in now. Instead he kept quiet, only answering when he was asked a question. Alex remembers how earlier he was exiting the hospital in his scrubs, being a resident really was a pain at times, when he suddenly had a gun being pushed into his side and heard one of the men telling him to stay quiet and go with them.
Of course he wasn’t going to make the slightest bit of noise or even attempt to flee. He did as he was told. The fact that these people didn’t even bother to do some sort of digging around before randomly abducting someone really made him want to roll his eyes at them, but he held back. Thankfully though, Alex knew how to do most things, such as stitching someone up, so he knew he would be safe. He just had to remind himself that once they let him go he would have to switch to a different shift to avoid this from happening again.
At least that was what he thought would happen. Once he’s finished with his stitching, cutting off some excess thread, he feels the cold metal object being pressed to the back of his skull after he’s managed to stand up. His eyes glance over to one of the men that begins speaking and telling him that there was no way of him actually leaving here alive today, of course he sort of guessed that this would probably happen he was dealing with one of the gangs after all. The fact that he had already seen too much was enough for him to know that they wouldn’t let him go so easily. The only way he would be leaving here would most likely be a body bag of some sort and he can’t help but sigh softly at the thought. At least he managed to get through most of his residency before he died right?
Alex closes his eyes slowly, ready for whatever was about to come. Did he really want to die? No, of course he didn’t, though it wasn’t like he had a weapon of his own to use and even if he did they would end up shooting him before he got the chance to even make a move. This was it, his final moments before he ended up just like those who were in the morgue of the hospital. That’s where they would be sending him here soon and there was nothing he could do about it.
