Cher has finally managed to get Xavier to clean his home. As she was dusting off his wardrobe now, there was something that caught her attention, the mask. Smiling to herself subtly, she walks out, holding it out to him. “So, I found this.”
“I thought with how much you hated it, you’d probably thrown it out already, but you kept the costume, didn’t you?”
Following the wanderer attacks on the city and ensuring she was fully recovered, he'd admitted his own apartment had fallen to some neglect. While he wasn't untidy in nature, the past few weeks had rendered him unable to attend to things as well as usual. That and, over the years there were numerous things he'd held on to merely for the sake of it. Outdated things without much use now. He thinks to himself that maybe his girlfriend might find it interesting.
And of course that thing is the first thing she brings to him. At least it wasn't the real one.
Making a face, he takes the Lumiere mask between his thumb and forefinger as if holding a dead rat.
"No, I meant to get rid of it," He begins, not realizing he sounds unconvincing if he does, " That's why you're here. To help me get rid of junk.... but since you were still recovering from your injuries and spent money on it... I decided against it."
He purses his lips, knowing she has to be getting some enjoyment from this. "I'm not going to put it on."
