{Been seeing a rise in ai-generated RP responses in the community so I just want my community to know that every single post and response is 100% me racking my brain to fit into Xavier's persona, as I have come to understand it.

I have been RPing since I was 13, which is nearly going to be 15 years for me of writing as a hobby. And with that comes a lot of writing experience, while I don't profess to be profound, I'm come to be proud of my writing :) and I really enjoy what I get to do! It's so much fun for me, and I love that it gets to connect me with so many different types of people. So :) Thank you for sticking around and here's to many more fun times!}

"I'll do my best with the language... be patient with me."

And what I tried to say was...I wasn't lonely because I kept myself busy making the paper flowers and sketches, and um...no one was here, I woke up alone, when it was a little past midnight, the doctors were outside, I didn't find anyone in the room- oh look, I saved the big laler flower for you, it's a little crooked but I think it's better than the rest...

(I...might be a little bit scared. Hospitals are scary...specially when the room os empty. Can I maybe hold you for a moment?)

Crossing his arms, he looks away, an ear still turned towards her to listen. The explanation settles, and he tries let it sink in. "I don't think I'd be responsible for helping you get discharged... we aren't legally family."

So she was still thinking of him, and there was no one else?

The gesture of the folded paper flower shouldn't have been enough to chip away at his heart, but it is, at least enough to soften the cold ache in his chest and make it a little warmer. It is because it's her. With an exhale, he takes the flower, thumbing over it like it's a precious gemstone. A moment passes while he contemplates, and then places the flower back in her palm.

"I'll leave this with you for safe keeping. It will remind you of me in the meantime." He pauses, hesitancy knitted in his brow. Although, he can't seem to control the swirling emotions she'd set within him.

"I.... My partner doesn't seem to want me around very much anymore. She keeps leaving me, going places without telling me. It's almost like she only seems to want me where others can't see. I think I don't understand... But since she gave me a special task, I'll fulfill it." It isn't truly what he wants to say, nor will it gets him the answers that feel like they are eating his heart alive, but it's enough to ease some of the heat rising in his throat. Something soft washes over his countenance briefly, like a soft ripple lapping at the edge of a lake before dissolving back into it once more.

"Get some rest. The doctor says you aren't well enough to be discharged yet. I'll stay with you until you fall asleep and when you wake up... I'll be here with your ID."

Sitting in the chair adjacent from the hospital bed, he watches out the window, and waits.

A soft blush settles into his ears, settling into the edges of his cheeks. Wordlessly he slides a hand against her waist to pull her a bit closer and with his other hand, curls his fingers around her other. It's a familiar dance pose.

"Can I make it fair?" Leaning forward, he booped her nose with the tip of his, and then a mischievous sparkle emanates from his eyes, and he kisses her nose before spinning her and stepping away, just as gentle as the way he'd stepped into a familiar dance.

"Well, I suppose we can leave it unfair for now."

Hey Xavi, I think I kinda...messed up something, don't be mad, yeah?👉👈So I did take one of those late night missions (shouldn't have taken any without you, I regret it now), and maybe it wasn't a good idea as some drivers are...drunk at that hour? If you're not busy, can you drop by the hospital near the subway with my hunter Id? It's on my desk, use the spare key I gave you. They aren't discharging me without the Id...or someone to go home with...(yeah, I've been alone for the last few hours...But it's late and I'm not that much hurt, I wasn't much lonely either, I made paper flowers sitting here and made some sketches...Ykw I should stop talking).

The doctors might try to scare you, don't believe them much, I'm fine. Really. Hope to see you soon.

Leaving without her hunter ID, leaving without him, without a trace, again and again, it began to chip away and churn within his heart. Worse than that, the feelings of anxiety within him began to lift at the scab of an old, deep wound within him – the wound he couldn't name at night, even deep within himself. The wound of insecurity that told him he wasn't enough for her.

It wasn't the doctor's who'd be scaring him. They should be scared of him, soon. If they didn't cooperate with his interrogation.

"I'm on my way." He speaks into his watch, or croaks, but isn't sure if it's because of pain or because of the way he slept.

With a cold, dull ache in his chest, he lifts his heavy body from the bed. Not heavy from slumber, but from something deeper, and in a flash is at the hospital. In a flash, he's in her room, eyes narrowed in emotion.

"Not lonely? So who was here? I'd like to know who you called first."

And then a pause, and he blinks, remembering something important.

Of course, in his haste, he'd forgotten her hunter's ID.
