Obsidian "Minkie" Pie reimagining except I lost the plot halfway through and now she's a detective oops.
I used to listen to the Muffins Saga when I was a teen let me HAVE THISSSS PLSSS!!!
For those who dont know what The Muffins Saga is uhhh its an mlp fanfic inspired by "Cupcakes". Its bad and has a lot of heavy themes and violence, I do NOT recommend it I'm so serious like just dont read it especially if ur uncomfortable with gore and torture. Im just reimagining the character "Minkie" from the series bc I used to really like her a lot when I was younger. Also I thought it would be fun.
Like come tf ON I have the og Minkie on my tomodachi life island she's so important to me.
Some character + story beats below the cut.

- Madeleine is the eldest, followed by Limestone, Pinkamena, and Marble! (Maud doesn't exist in this universe, sorry 😔)
- Similar to the og Minkie, Madeline is really good at reading others and can easily tell if someone is lying to her. She is also scarily good at sneaking around without being noticed.
- Months before Limestone's birth, Madeleine was thrown into her parent's cellar for heresy after accusing their local priest out for adultery and using the church donations for materialistic items instead of helping the church. These accusations were true, but no one wanted to believe a filly over the head of the church. Of course, there were more reasons as to why, but that was the straw that broke the camels back.
- Due to this, Madeleine has no idea she even has sisters.
- After 5 years of Imprisonment, she one day heard her grandmother's voice through the cellar. She had never met her grandma, and only heard of her through her mother's occasional snide remarks about her "improper" ways while conversing with other ponies.
- She heard her grandma state that she would be moving to Manehatten for a fresh start tomorrow morning, and Madeleine realized that it would be her only chance of leaving.
- The next morning, when her mother came down into the cellar to give her food and water, Madeline had hid under the stairs and snuck out while her mother was distracted, the rocks she covered with the dirty blanket she slept in was enough to somehow fool her mother. It was only days later that her parents realized she escaped, but never seemed to bother to go look for her.
- After catching up with her Grandmother, Madeleine ended up leaving her hometown with her grandmother and lived in a cozy home off the side of Manehattan.
- When Madeleine got her cutiemark while imprisoned, she was at first under the impression that it meant she was destined to be locked away forever. However, after escaping her abusive homelife and starting up detective work did she realize she did not want others to suffer as she did, and that her true calling was bringing ponies crimes to light and locking them away in jail for good.
- Despite everything, Madeleine still believes there is a higher God. She believes that "God" had given her the strength to her get out of her abusive household and start her life anew.
- Only goes by "Madeleine" as she wants to separate herself from her parents.
- She's not very social, however she's really good at interrogating criminals.
- Due to being starved by her parents, she doesn't ever take food for granted, and HATES the idea of wasting food.
- Has a small side hobby of jewelry making, it was a hobby she picked up from her grandmother.
- When she becomes 28, she returns to her hometown in order to confront her parents about their abuse towards her, but is shocked to find an entirely different family living on her childhood home. Madeleine finds out that her parents had vanished years ago, with nopony ever knowing what had happened to them.
- Determined to confront her parents, Madeleine sets off to investigate the truth behind her parents' disappearance, it starts with her local mailmare and ends up with Madeleine uncovering a group of serial killers, some of which may or may not be her younger sisters.
And uhhhh yea thats all. I like to imagine this version of "Muffins" follows Madeleine uncovering Pinkie and the other baker's crimes instead of it just being a gorefest that ends with everyone fucking dying 💀 I dont have a full story set in stone as I just did this for fun tbh. Maybe one day I'll brainstorm more ideas for this, maybe not, i dunno. Don't quote me on that pls.
