Questions for the community
This is mostly based on some personal observations I've made about who I am and how I navigate the general coquette subculture and related spaces, and I wanna know if anyone else has had similar experiences. So, for anyone who considers themselves coquette/faunlet or for anyone who gravitate towards similar/overlapping aesthetics and subcultures, please reblog this and answer:
Do you identify as queer in any capacity?
Are you neurdivergent?
Do you think that your queerness/experience with neurodivergence has an impact on the way you navigate your respective communities or how you relate to your subculture of choose personally?
A/N: This little Yandere influencer idea has been in my head for a while. So here it is.
Couple Goals: extremely smutty
Shower Time: still somewhat smutty with fluff and 1% miscommunication.
I’ve always wished I was a bit more popular, but not like this.
“David, stop leaving Gucci purses at my house!” I yell, scaring my cat Felicity as I take in another purse from outside.
My phone pings and I see a text message from David.
David: If you don’t like the brand or color, I can get another color 😉
I sigh and try not to snap my phone in half.
Cherie: STAHP! My neighbors think you’re my sugar daddy or pimp!
David: Aww! I’d be glad to be your sugar daddy anytime. I could provide everything y-
I block him and throw my phone onto the couch.
Why did I have to go to that coffee shop?
4 weeks ago:
“I heard that this coffee shop has a good chocolate chip cookie dough cappucino,” I say entering Miss Coco’s.
“Which is why I brought you here. You need to get out of the house more,” My friend Strawberry (Berry) says, getting in line with me. “By the way, Cherie, you should be more careful about being clumsy. You nearly fell into a puddle getting here.”
“I know-ahh!”
I fall and the person in front of me spills their drink all over me.
Oh crap! Oh crap! Oh crap! OH CRAP!
“Mmm...ohmygod I’m so sorry!” I fiercely apologize, getting off the person.
“Don’t worry it’s ok. I should’ve watched where I was going.” A young man with sunkissed blonde hair, sky-blue eyes, and fair-olive skin. “Here, let me pay for you and your friends drinks.”
The young man stands up and grabs a couple of napkins for us to clean up.
“Cherie, do you know who you just ran into?!” Strawberry whispers as she cleans up the iced coffee.
“No. He just looks like the average white boy.” I whisper back.
“That’s David Loves! He’s one of the most popular influencers on Tiktok, Instagram, and Youtube! He has like 40 million followers across his platforms!”
“So he’s an influencer? Is that all?”
“Is that all? Is that all? How are you not impressed by him?”
“Cus’ I don’t know him.”
“Here are your drinks, ladies,” David says, placing a chocolate-looking drink and a pink drink on the counter. “Oh, can I have your socials?”
He sticks his hand out to me and I look at him with surprise. Why does this boy want to follow me on social media?
“Sure,” I answer, handing him a piece of paper with my socials on it.
“Catcha ya later, Cherry Babe.”
David winks at me before walking away.
“Oh, my God! David Love just flirted with you!” Strawberry squeals as she carries our drinks out the door.
“It doesn’t mean anything. He probably does that to every girl he meets,” I counter, as I take my chocolate drink from her.
Turns out it did mean something. It meant a lot.
