And someone on IG called them out on the "new head" being Licca. Whoever runs the account said they would "look into it" but I don't expect that to go anywhere. I am guessing they're well past production already.

This photo looks like they changed the face printing a little so it soooort of looks less like an exact Licca copy 😂

After some digging I found BOTH Cherry Doll rooms on Amazon! (Very frustrating that once again a simple search on Amazon does NOT turn up the product! Links below for anyone else w same problem.) I checked shopping services and these amazon listings are cheaper because of the shipping costs. So, I decided to sell a BJD and get both rooms. Reasoned that I work with The Girls a shitload more than several of the BJDs I have. And these rooms will theoretically fit almost perfectly into my Ikea Detolf cases!

Now the long shipping wait. And keeping an eye out for future room releases as teased in the official site! I can fit four across (one in each Detolf), so I'm gearing up to buy two more eventually. Dear lord I hope one is candy or shop themed. 😁

Cost: So, again these are expensive. But I've made my own doll room box in the past, and it actually cost several hundred to make just a bare empty room box, after purchasing all the supplies and tools. And of course time is in short supply for me for the next several years and I am not a patient person 😅 I also went price comparing, and Licca room boxes on eBay cost slightly more, are smaller, and also come empty. So I'm ok with the cost I guess, though it makes the Glitter Girls Sweet Shop a better and better buy, by comparison!

Size: These "rooms" are pretty small, about 30cm to a side. Smaller than the Sweet Shop. The Cherry doll is slightly bigger than The Girls going strictly off height and head size. It looks tiny with Cherry, but I'm ok with it because of

Stylization: I love the style. I love it. The plastic reminds me of my childhood doll stuff, and meshes perfectly with how I see The Girls. I could still make a very pretty and realistic room box for them out of wood and paper and metal etc despite the costs, but I want that plastic! And look how similar they are to screenshots of Rolley's house interior:

Bonus: Dresses. The doll dresses are on theme for The Girls so I hope they fit! I'm not interested in the dolls so possibly I could sell them to recoup costs?
