I totally agree on FFX-2 and FFXIII. To me, FFX-2 felt like the JRPG equivalent of a shoujo anime. It was girly and fun and cute and I think a lot of people just couldn't handle that. And I don't think it's a coincidence that the only other game in the series that focuses much more on strong ladies and their bonds to each other (FFXIII) is also fairly unpopular. :/

Well, how often does Final Fantasy counter to girly-girl characters? It just doesnt. And the plotline was legitimately stupid. I still refuse to believe the Good Ending was real. BUT it had SO MANY AMAZING QUALITIES.

FFX-2 was the testing grounds for a fucking awesome new battle system. It threw in this great backstory with the Crimson Squad that you had to work your ass off to earn. It brought back the card games that I totally missed from FFIX and the earlier entries in the series. And yeah, it revolved around girls being girly, and was still fun.

And goddamn that soundtrack. That soundtrack. Kuon ~Memory of Light & Waves~ is forever one of my favorite songs in the entire series.

5. A habit you find disgusting.

I could probably think up a million. But the one that really drives me insane is when people cant pick up after themselves. I'm not talking a messy room, I'm talking leaving trash lying all over the living room, that kind of thing. It's less disgusting and more the type of thing that makes me put my fist through a wall because fucking with my spacial organization means fucking with my sanity. I'm not even that neat of a person, just. Seriously. Your mother isnt here, be an adult.

12. Television programs you love but have gotten shit for liking.

Basically any kids' show ever. Wizards of Waverly, iCarly, any of Disney's or Nick's current live-action line-ups, I give no fucks.

18. A selection of video games that you enjoy that perhaps you really shouldn’t.

Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XIII, almost anything Kingdom Hearts.

FFX-2 had a shit basic story, but I thoroughly enjoyed the job class pretty princess dress me up barbie system, the story in the secret cutscenes was fucking brilliant, and the game has some of the most incredible music in the entire series.

I love FFXIII for the same reason I lot of people legitimately hate it, it just really resonated with me and ended up leaving me more impressed than anything.

Kingdom Hearts has a lot of bullshit in the story, but all of the important retconning was shit we predicted after KH2 and we've pretty much called the ending of the series. But it's definitely a series that's close to hearts for a reason.
