There is a legitimate reason why I complain, and it's because I think a lot of people don't actually know that they're doing things that are driving off people from their fandom.

Most people are quiet about not getting into something because of a vocal minority who seem to think that whatever they care about is worth shouting about, despite how petty or nonsensical it is.

I'm complaining so many people who do things like that can look over and say "Oh man, are we actually acting in such a way as to actively drive people away from this?  Is it our actions that would make someone look at something that brings us such joy and not want to be apart of it?"

There's a valid reason that I'm complaining, and that's to hopefully get the people who act like this to reexamine how they conduct themselves and hopefully settle their shit.

And while I don't actually expect any of them to, if one person sees that and realizes that maybe something they have or were going to do would reflect badly upon their fandom and stops doing it, then my post have had a point to them.

And at the very worst, it's my damn blog, and I can complain about what I want.
