Made our inevitable return to @beachfirebrewing, where I enjoyed the banana and clove meets toasted coconut and pulpy pineapple, all drawn together by a bready yeast bite, of Pina Colada Hefeweizen - while they had the classic summer refreshment of Beach Blonde Ale - followed by the crabapple, under-ripe Bing cherry, chestnut, mild oat malt bite, and bright and bitter lime zest finish of Cherry Lime Sour Ale, a collaboration with Comox’s @landandseabeer, and accompanied by chips and house-made salsa and a margarita pizza fresh from their relatively new wood fire oven.
