Sorry if this is too long but just to be short, can I request for an extra fluffy oneshot or headcanons where Kakyoin comforts his s/o during a storm or dealing with a spider? Either of the two is okay. Please remember to eat, sleep and drink well. Remember that you are loved and many love your hard work including me. 💕 KAKYOIN LOVES YOU ^^

I have to admit I'm scared rn because it's raining hard (I love the rain cause it's cool, relaxing and it helps the plants), and I'm usually the type of person that's a big baby when it comes to storms and spiders (no matter the size). I'm afraid of storms because of the idea of lightning hitting me so I'm like ultra paranoid. I know it's impossible and safer indoors. 😂

Jfocksnjxke of course! Kakyoin supremacy! 💕 For me, It is easier to write head cannons, but I want to stretch into writing one-shots. I’m not confident in writing them, but I am willing to try!

Fog ‘n Thunder

[Noriaki Kakyoin x GN!Reader] [One-Shot] [Word Count: 494] [WARNINGS: Panic Attack, Astraphobia: Fear of Thunder] 

You couldn’t stop the trembling your physique was undergoing; when you heard the first series of crackling thunder outside, you couldn’t take it. Your body was telling you to run, to get away from the danger that was lurking outside.

The adrenaline constricting the last remains of your rationality made you sprint upstairs, feverish tears streaming down your cheeks. You couldn’t go through with this; to you, this was worse than death.

It didn't take you long before you pulled the duvet over your frame. The only thing that you could do was weep; thinking the worse possible scenario, "Why…" was all you could muster. "Why now."

Minutes passed, yet to you, it seemed like hours, hearing the harsh rain pat against the window. When you listened to the next set of roaring thunder, a tear trickled down your cheek. You had no idea what to do; you just wanted this nightmare to stop.

The racing thoughts in your mind muffled the sound of a set of footsteps that were sprinting upstairs. Shortly after, you heard the door to your room swing open in earnest.

“[Y/N]! Are you here?” You heard your partner calling your name; he knew you were terrified of storms and thunder. He sounded shaken, out of breathing even. Your breath hitched, hearing Kakyoin’s voice made your head pop out of the covers, not out of relief but out of surprise. Did he just run here to see if you were alright? “I’m so sorry...”

You glimpsed at his verdant gakuran; it was thoroughly drenched. Kakyoin gradually made his way over to your bedside, promptly removing his uniform jacket, revealing a white button under-shirt. “I wish I got here sooner.”

Behind the streaks of unbearable tears, you graced him with a weak smile; just the thought of Kakyoin thinking of you during a time like this was just so sympathetic of him.

The moment, however, was short-lived as another cycle of rumbles echoed, even louder than before. Your head retreated to the security of the duvet, panic erupting from your throat in the form of a tiny yelp. You couldn’t tell, but Kakyoin’s heart was aching; it hurt him to witness his beloved trembling like a frightened child.

Noriaki folded his gakuran before setting it at the end of the bed. He slowly inches his hand beside where your form was hiding under the duvet. “My hand is here if you want to hold it.”

The only sound that filled the room for a brief moment was the sound of the continuous rain droplets against the glass window. You tried to bring yourself out of the duvet, but your abrupt thoughts were keeping you hostage; you were at their mercy.

You could only bring yourself to snake your hand out, resting it sheepishly onto Kakyoin’s knuckles. The man beside you didn’t hesitate to link his fingers in between your elegant ones.

“I’ll be here as long as you need me, darling.”
