Cherry Pie Cupcakes are a delightful combination of classic cupcakes and the sweet, fruity goodness of cherry pie filling. These cupcakes are perfect for any occasion and are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup milk. 1 egg. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup canned cherry pie filling.
Instructions: Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix them together. Break up the butter and add it to the dry ingredients along with the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix the batter well and until it is smooth. About a third of the way up each cupcake liner, add a small amount of batter. Put about a teaspoon of cherry pie filling in the bottom of each cupcake liner and then add batter on top of it. More batter should be added on top of the cherry pie filling until the cupcake liners are about two thirds full. After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. For a few minutes, let the cupcakes cool in the muffin tin. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your Cherry Pie Cupcakes after you serve them!
