Two voices pick up on the recording, one we can recognize as Casi and another voice that can be presumed to be Cheryll.
Casi: What type of meat do you think we should get? Beef maybe? They used to eat livestock.
Cheryll: But it seems that they haven't in decades—at least not in large enough amounts to notice.
There's a pause and some shuffling.
Casi: Chicken then?
Cheryll: Maybe. I'm not sure... Actually what if we got some plums instead?
Casi: Don't the stories always talk about scraps of meat? Why would it want plums?
Cheryll: Oh foxes love plums actually. They're opportunistic omnivores but it's been shown that they love fruits!
Casi: I feel like we should have a little meat just in case... I'm grabbing some beef. If it doesn't like it then we can make a note of it.
There's the noise of something being placed in a metal shopping cart.
Cheryll: That cut looked too fatty. Let's try this cut, it's leaner.
Casi audibly sighs before presumably making the swap. The pair chatter for a while about alcohol and other items on their grocery list as they navigate the store to the produce section. Cheryll frets about the best plums to use while Casi picks out a couple apples.
