Friendship is Magic [Marian and Cheryl drabble]
She was gonna get that little brat. She'd made a lovely, lovely concoction – not really dangerous, of course, but enough. It'd make her voice deeper, until it was like she was a man or something – and Marian was sure that the vain little girl would be terribly upset.
She heard something moving, and stepped towards it excitedly --
“Shit, Cheryl, you okay?” The girl was crying, and not because of something that Marian had done. Her ankle was swollen – did she trip and sprain it?
“G-go away, you big meanie!”
“Oh, shut up!” Marian put her syringe aside and pulled Cheryl's hands away from her gently, passing her a handkerchief instead. “Wipe your face with a hanky, you dumbass. You're just going to irritate your eyes.”
Cheryl sniffled, staring down at the handkerchief for a moment before beginning to wipe her face. “Y-you're not going to hurt me?”
“Sure I am.” Marian stood up taller, bigger, menacing-er – but at the way Cheryl shrank back she returned to normal. “But it can wait until later, when you're feeling better. Come on, I'll treat you with something back at home.”
Cheryl glared at her, probably thinking she was going to do something sketchy – and so she scooped the girl up in her arms before she could argue. “You got no choice, brat~ You're coming home with me!”
“W-wait, your evil trumpet thing...”
“Shhh. Get too noisy and I'll turn you into a radish.” She'd get her syringe back later. There was something more important to deal with.
