Quite frankly I'm sick of the "men are inherently evil and need to be avoided at all costs" narrative. Like yeah, there's something to be said about strangers and the way cis dudes are raised,but to act like men are evil and gross by default is just so icky to me.

Women aren't somehow more pure and good natured just because they're women. And hell, I am insanely grateful to have really amazing and really sweet guy friends,both cis and trans. By painting them as irredeemable you're denying a chance to be better 🤷🏻‍♀️

simon calling grace, ya know. Grace. because he thinks it's a title or a measure of Goodness and not just a last name. simon, who comes from a religious cult and almost dies and is (usually) severely unwell when they meet, hearing that this impossible man is called Grace and thinking "of course he is grace, you have to be a special kind of person to rescue someone like him."
