"Why would you think that Cheshire needs anything else besides you? Nothing else matters…" The Chain mused, flashing a sincere smile at his master. not wanting to ever see her sad again. The first step to that goal was to stay by her side for as long as she wanted him to be there.

{❀}   "Cheshire..."  She whimpers, smiling appreciatively up at him and reaching her fingers up to tangle them into his messy hair.  "When I'm with you...  I forget how lonely it is down here..."  Gently he pulls him down, standing on the tips of her toes.  "...when you're here, living in the Abyss doesn't seem so bad..."  Tentatively, she pecks him on the lips.  For some reason, Alyss is afraid that he'll reject her, it has been a long time, and people do change.

"Alyss!" The Chain cried, pouncing on his master lovingly when he only saw the shape of her dress. "Cheshire has missed you sooo much!" He purred, nuzzling his cheek against her own. "He's sorry it's been so long..."

{❁}  "Cheshire!  Oh... Oh Cheshire...!"  The girl in white, so moved that she might burst into tears, pulls her most precious tightly against her, enough that she might press kisses to his face and bury herself in his shoulder.  "I miss you all the time...  Stay with me for a while!  Please!  I'll pet your ears the way you like, I promise!"

After hearing word of a stranger passing through the village, Kagome simply disregarded it with the assumption that it's merely a traveler making their way towards their desired destination. However upon hearing of what can only be described as cat-like features, she felt oddly compelled to go see for herself just what was going on.

"Eh, excuse me?" Kagome hesitantly approached the unknown figure. Immediately taking notice of their rather unusual appearance, although not that unusual for this era. Quickly observing them as she walked closer, she found it odd how there seemed to be no demonic aura.

Cayla sat under a tree just writing things in her journal out of boredum. Now of course she was lonely like always. She closed her eyes for a second then opened them back up as she heard something. She closed her journal and hid behind a tree, peeking out.

{❁}  She's only a little late--it wouldn't do to show up early with the limited time she can spend at such an event.  

Clinging to Cheshire, the girl in white gazes at the decorations around her, in utter fascination.  She's intimidated, but only a little.  Hopefully... Pandora will give her just one evening before trying to drag her away.  ...or perhaps they won't recognize her for what she is.

{❁}  Alyss sighs briefly and hugs her knees up into her chest.  She wants so much to go to this...Lovelace ball.  It seems it will be so much fun...  But she has no means to get there--and no one to go with.

Certainly there must be some way...?
