Signups will be open from now until next week. After that we’ll sort out a list of artists as well as an understudy list in case anyone drops out. All participating artists get a cut of PWYW donations to the zine for the first month, plus free rights to reproduce their piece and reprint the full zine itself for sale.

Hey guys! SO HERE'S SOMETHING I DIDN'T EXPECT: Within only a few days of posting the Cryptozoology For Dumbasses call for entries, I've been so inundated with people asking to participate that I've FILLED all of the spots on the roster-- even AFTER adding five NEW cryptids to bring the master post up to a grand total of 30! With so many entries by so many awesome artists, one thing I can guarantee is that this Chessmaster installment is going to be WICKED BEEFY with COOL ART and INEXPLICABLE MYSTERIES.

If you still want in, you can contact me and I'll put you on the waiting list, but at this point there are already several people on it and I can't make any promises. HOWEVER! I do plan on doing another Chessmaster Guide late next spring, so if you don't get in this time around you can try again next time. No worries!

PS: For those curious: the new cryptids on the list are Spring-Heeled Jack, the Burrunjor, the Hodag, the Ningen, and the Fiji Mermaid. Also, on the original post I put up I had Kraken on the list twice for some reason, which was a typo; one of them was supposed to be Lizard People, but i got someone to do that one, so no worries.
