It was his first time meeting a Terran, an exciting event enough. He’d been hearing all sorts of tall tales around the academy, and he was eager to see for himself what they were like. Of course, he wanted to make a good first impression, this would be his first contact with someone from another solar system. So he picked one of his nicer outfits and headed out.

It was a short walk from his living quarters to the eatery, which the human had referred to as a ‘cafe’, whatever that meant. He wasn’t quite up on all of their languages yet, still working his way through the three major languages they seemed to prefer. This one happened to speak English, which was sort of a pain, since it was the language that he had the least understanding of. But he wasn’t about to let that stop him.

“Hey! Cheye?” That was him, alright, already there, sitting at a table messing with his communication device. A broad-shouldered, tall person, by his standards, though he wasn’t sure how he measured up to other Terrans.

“I am Cheye,” He replied, nodding and seating himself across from him. He tried not to be too put off by the smile- in any other species it would be a sign of aggression, but he’d heard that humans used it as a way to express pleasure. “You must be Leo,”

There's this shallow piece of river I visit the to smoke with the trees and talk to people. I was with this girl that knows how to listen so well. I feel like I could fall in love with her if I wanted to fall in love. But I'm too scared to fall in love so for now she is a good kisser.
