On the 24th of November, 1980, Yes unleashed Yesshows, their second live album.
For a second live album, Yesshows is pretty damn cool, being that there is no overlap in material at all with the band's *first* live album. Also nice that it documents some Pat Moraz performances, considering the album was assembled, mixed, and produced without his involvement.
On this date in 1998, agents for the estate of Miles Davis released his box set, The Complete Bitches Brew.
Same day, same year, Emerson Lake & Palmer dropped their live album, Then And Now.
The 'Now' part isn't that crucial, but the 'then' most definitely is, being a record of the band's performance at the first Cal Jam.
On the 24th of November, 2009, The Mercury Program laid upon us Chez Viking, their fourth album.
