ArtSnacks February 2017: What's inside?

Last week I finished a backpack, based on @chezlin ‘s tutorial on youtube. I recycled my old cape for the material, but I did buy the notions (zip, webbing etc.). This is a bit rough but not bad for a first go. Here’s the cloak that I deconstructed (the rest of it became my winter coat)
Getting back into sewing after a long break . . . I hate sewing vinyl. My sewing machine doesn't like it and it won't pass through easily. Argh!

I (sort of) finished a sketchbook so I decided to film a sketchbook tour!
chezlin replied to your photo “Gonna be starting an astrology series!”
Awesome, can't wait to see!
Thanks!! I’m excited to work on it
Check out my sister chezlin‘s DIY channel!
In her videos she teaches you how to make all kinds of stuff, from clothes to jewelry to snacks to pet furniture and more! Ever wanted to make a bathtub shelf? Or fix your broken pumps (like the shoe)? Or dress up like a wind-up doll with a working key? Rachel will teach you how with clear instructions -- one of my favorite things is that she’s willing to make mistakes on camera and tell you how to fix them.
She also uploads drawing videos, both digital and traditional. Fun for burgeoning artists and people who just want a nice video to put on while they do other stuff.
Oh, and her super cute dog Hobbes & cat Gremlin make many cameos.
Her channel is quickly growing (5000 subscribers in 9 months and increasing exponentially)! Come check out her hard work -- maybe you’ll learn something cool!
This isn't a question, I just wanted to thank you for the little tutorial you did, showing how you created the halftone texture in your pieces. I played with that all day today, haha.
I’m so glad you found it useful! Here’s the tutorial if anyone else is interested in trying it.
