Had a great conversation with a mentor I had almost 10 years ago and holy shit I am so starved at this point for like-minded individuals

I had a dream last night where we all decided to start attaching these blood sucking organisms to our faces because some company figured out how to make it look cute. They pulled everyone in by saying that it forces you to seek nutrients you need because you want to keep the organism well fed. Everyone was getting these as a weight-loss/healthy living strategy, it was like the new labubu

In essence with the whole ~rainbow~ capitalism being ineffective but also a major red flag when even that is not there, I realized there are no events planned for pride at my workplace of almost 200 employees. So instead of waiting around any longer, I decided to host an event myself. I asked my boss for the logistics of it and she said she has to ask HR first. She asked HR and HR is talking about getting legal involved first because apparently some of our board members are trumpists and may get upset about the DEI implications of it all. Even if they don’t let me host an event, at least I’ll know the truth about the people I work for, and you know for a fact I will be blabbering the fuck on about it to every person on our staff
