Guys, she’s having an awesome time being in Karkaton again! Definitely not reliving any trauma with a certain kidnapping and “guard dog of the underworld” :]

Sooooo… Chi joined The Incident out of nostalgia. Yes, the main reason was because it would help train her abilities as a Scientist, but the driving force was having the chance to work with Erica again. While Erica wanted to distance from the past, Chi, in a way, was wanting to relive it. Getting the opportunity to once again be with “one of her dear traveling companions from three years ago” wasn’t gonna be something she was just gonna pass up, and well… just like Erica, with the timeskip Chi got EXACTLY what she wished for! She got to experience nearly every notable moment from the adventure she had with her precious party all over again! The good, the bad, and the ugly.

It’s never really acknowledged by canon (apart from very very small comments), but. Dude. She was only 18 when the 2nd Dark Lord Attack happened. She was 15 during the 3DS series! I swear, when you start to really think about the events of Miitopia from a mental health standpoint, Chi went through so much while adventuring at such a young age… and I kinda imagine that she didn’t fully realize just how bad reliving certain moments would’ve been for her until it was too late.

Yeaaaahhh I am definitely giving the haha funny arsonist Mii a lot more depth than necessary with headcanons... but I guess that’s what you do when your blorbo’s a comic relief character! GUYS THE CHI-TSD IS REAL I SWEAR THE NEXT FAILTOPIA SEASON WILL TOTALLY ACKNOWLEDGE IT TRUUUUUST- *gets dragged into the void*

Hope you're doing well! Any voices you headcanon for the Incident? Besides C!Failboat being himself, obviously.

I typically think of Chi as Test Tube from Inanimate Insanity, but @rosetheocto did a very good voice for her! And I think that Bo would sound very similar to Shizuku from Project Sekai. I also think Orion would sound a bit like Tea Knight Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom, but a little lighter in tone.

it will never not be funny to me that when people new to/outside the fandom see Chi, their first reaction and question is usually something along the lines of “that’s the Mii you obsess over?? What’s with his face??? WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE THAT????”

Yep, that’s my favorite character in this series!! The reason why she has the six pack is cuz of her doing “chin ups” during the timeskip!! Yeah you didn’t mishear me, That Disgusting Creature is a girl!! Don’t question her weird anatomy or criminal record, she’s just a silly mage/scientist that sets things on fire sometimes!! A small handful of people think that Chi is kinda irrelevant and “could’ve easily been written out of the lore” and they’re not entirely wrong but also she’s definitely made an impact imo but a lot more subtle than like Erica’s for example. Oh yeah by the way her full name is Chin Kid. She’s not a kid anymore by the time the second season of this series begins (she’s canonically 18 during 2021), but even before she became an adult she’s always went by her shortened name which yeah understandable LMAO

oh by the way this isn’t as relevant to her character as some fans may believe it is, but she’s based off Hat Kid from A Hat In Time-

OKAY LET’S TRY THIS AGAIN!!! Please Tumblr I NEED this!! Sooooo Failtopia fans!!! How are we feeling?? I’m honestly feeling SO HYPED rn with Tomodachi like dude. I’m going crazy over Living the Dream. I know that the game being Season 3 is still a 50/50 thing but hey, I’m still excited!!

I think now is one of the last chances I have to draw my headcanon timeskip Lanc design, cuz... well, the official one is most likely gonna be revealed soon!!! The second I saw that there was gonna be a Nintendo Direct for Tomodachi I just ran over to my drawing tablet and did that Barbie redraw I’ve been putting off for a while LMAOO. I genuinely love this pairing so much <3

Oh yeah, by the way, I was also given the opportunity back in November to draw the thumbnail for @malrightnao’s newest Failtopia Supercut video!! I adore Lanc and Chi with all my heart so doing this was awesome!! :D

I hope I did them justice here... there's a few minor things with this art that I wish I fixed, but I still love it a lot... AUGH I'm not normal about these two like seriously | love them
