Friday 5 July - Haze @ Loop feat. Rob SpinFX and CKD
Here's a cool new collaboration. It's a free night of deep and minimal textures within murkier varieties of minimal techno and house, at the Loop Bar in town. In case you don't know, Loop is a venture that pays DJs and visual artists themselves, and also gives them some extra cash if the people drink enough of their booze.
This joint is a collaboration between The Kavorska and Collingwood's favourite all-vinyl store, Gutterhype Records. The mixing of deep tunes and frequencies will be conducted by MJE, Gutterhype's curator Rob SpinFX, and the extremely good Chiara Kickdrum, who rocked Loop out in the last set of Movement/50-50/Spacewalk's event a couple of weeks previously.
VJs will provide extra eye candy, in a "void of experimental visuals and new media". Entry is free, DJs start playing at 9pm.
