Outcome of February 20th
Not much as far as changes for me this time. We’re still trying to not get into daily preventative medication, so I’m sticking to my magnesium and B2 for now. Bumping the magnesuim up from 2mL twice a day to 500mg morning and night and 250mg in between (arounf 4pm for me), and doubling the B2 from 100mg to 200mg twice per day. Another option given to me from my amazing pain specialist is to try taking my severe pain medication (Imitrex) again, but taking half a dose instead of a full dose, (I had really bad side effects the last time).
So, not much is new for me, just more trial and error for now. It’s not the easiest but it’s nice to see progress even if it doesn’t seem like much is helping.
I’m also starting to keep a daily headache diary. Colour coding each day for how I felt overall (1-10 scale, blue-red) Its nice to visualize my day, I didn’t think I would appreciate it as much as I already do.
