Summary: Jaime Lannister: security director of Casterly Management by day, graphic artist by night. Brienne Tarth: music teacher by day, audiobook reader and singer-songwriter by night. Their paths cross online, and slowly, delicately, they build a friendship over mutual appreciation of each others' works and perhaps too much respect for privacy.
Things I Love: Brienne's teaching and mentorship of Shireen, the epistolary nature of Jaime and Brienne's building friendship and relationship, Brienne's pseudonym as an audiobook reader and her skill, Brienne's friendship with Chataya, the warmth and sweetness of the writing.

Summary: Jaime never made it to Cersei when Daenerys captured the Red Keep and instead returns to Winterfell where Sansa must decide if he can stay or if he will be exiled. Brienne acts as an advisor and must make decisions both for the North and for herself regarding whether or not she can trust Jaime again.
Things I Love: Sansa trusting Brienne to lead and protect Winterfell while she travels to King's Landing, Sansa and Brienne's friendship, Gendry having friends and family and an honoured place in the north, Lyanna Mormont survives.

Things I Love: Author brings in Addam from the books because Jaime needs a friend and he really does; Jaime making his own decisions; Bronn going off to help Tommen; Sansa and Jon shocked by Brienne finding extra soldiers before the Battle of the Bastards, Lord Lannister being honourable, Brienne telling Jaime she’s proud to be his friend.

Things I Love: King Jaime beloved of his people, Lord Commander Brienne also beloved by the kingdom, Brienne and Jaime's friendship and flirtation and love, the rest of the Kingsguard including Dacey Mormont, the sheer joy and warm humour of the writing.
