A smile lightened up her face, picking up her child and nuzzling him close with a bright smile. “I love you too, my little sun!”

✞ Chibiterasu

Fear raced through her system at the news, cold as ice, yet not quite feeling it at the same time. Horror barely lined her face, breathing suddenly a struggle. No, no it couldn’t be… Amaterasu knew her son could do it. If he was in trouble she’d know… She’d be there to protect him…!

The goddess pulled out Solar Flare, checking it’s surface— Letting out a barely heard whine of despair as she realized that yes, that was her little pup on the ground, blood around him and life gone from her grasp.

The world around her fell apart and broke as she fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face in despair. This wasn’t supposed to happen… If he got anywhere too close to death she was supposed to stop it! Protect him and train him further, if not take over his job…

He was supposed to be safe…

Sobs wracked her body, hands clutching at her reflector and leaving the goddess of the sun a mourning mother without her little sun.

To be honest, (and no offense to the other Ammys. They are all amazing), you are actually my favourite Amaterasu. You're adorbs and I hope I can do more stuff with Chibi with you~
