“Oh---!” The professor’s startled at the sudden appearance, but instantly awed by how adorable she is. So much pink. 

“Why, thank you, dear.” He says, carefully taking the offered half of the donut with a smile.

Cue the smolest star toddler lighting up Cinderella's fancy dress with actual star dust because she thinks it will look super pretty.

She had never seen magic before, had only heard it whispered behind jeweled fingers, hushed in secret, penned on fairy tale books; yet, she was in the midst of it. Watched it fall around her and dust onto her gown. “How…” she shouldn’t be surprised, her guest had done several things that seemed questionable for someone her age. She had mentioned the party her father was throwing, the guests that would be in attendance, and how much she wanted to look just as pretty as her stepsisters. Now she wore a silver gown that sparkled with hopes and dreams, for that’s what she did to stars. She laid out her own wishes night after night on the stars out her window and now to wear those of others made her feel blessed. If she listened close enough, she was sure she could hear the whispers of dreams when she walked.

She was nervous, tonight could be the night she meets her future, the night where she could meet the man from the forest. She only met him a few times and every time she anticipated it more. “Will you come down too? I need a friend in case he doesn’t show up. I don’t want to be alone. What if he DOES show up?” She began to wring her hands, the glitter dancing light onto the walls.

Here comes the tiniest toddler with a candy bar that has the periodic table of elements etched into it! Buuuut, when she hands it up to Setsuna it might be half eaten already. It's the thought that counts.

     She blinks slowly before taking the chocolate bar from the child, at first smiling when she realizes the periodic table theme of it – though the smile momentarily vanishes as she sees that only half the bar still exists. With a sigh, a smile returns to her lips as she gently pats the other’s head, humming in amusement. 

    “Thank you, little one. I appreciate it.”

Incoming love bomb from the stars! She just sort of floats down from the sky like Mary Poppins and plops on his head, getting star dust all over his hair which is compounded by her sticky toddler hands that is most certainly NOT caused by all the sugar she's eaten (don't know WHAT you're talking about).

He laughs high and bright and lifts her with gentle hands so she may sit on his shoulders, and him become the proud and loyal Knight!

“Faire morning, Chibi Chibi!” shouts he. His sticky hair and flecks of starlight art a boon; her presence commonly oft a Blessing, and Roland shakes his tunic to spread more of the incredible, glitter’ng star dust. “How goes thee? Hast thou been eating properly?”

        She  had  a  bag  of  groceries  tucked  under  one  arm  and  the  other  extended  towards  Chibi  Chibi,  holding  the  toddler  by  the  hand.  On  their  quest  for  the  Galactic  Leyline,  they’d  made  a  stop  on  Heifong  to  re-supply,  make  repairs  and  recuperate  before  they  drifted  off  again  towards  their  next  destination.  Melfina  hadn’t  lost  hope  yet  that  Gene  would  find  the  answers  she  was  looking  for  about  the  Leyline,  and  what  it  had  to  do  with  her—what  it  had  to  do  with  who  she  was—but  it’d  be  a  lie  to  say  she  wasn’t  beginning  to  show  concern  that  maybe  Gene  wouldn’t  be  able  to  keep  his  promise,  not  because  she  didn’t  trust  him;  but  because  perhaps  there  was  simply  nothing  for  them  to  find.  

        This  melancholic  mood  must  have  bled  through  her  expression,  because  a  moment  later,  Melfina  felt  a  tug  on  her  hand.  She  glanced  down  at  the  toddler,  forcing  a  smile  that  didn’t  quite  reach  her  eyes.  

        ❝Thank  you  for  coming  with  me,❞  Melfina  squeezed  her  little  hand  tight.  ❝With  how  busy  things  have  been  lately,  we’ve  been  running  low  on  food.  Do  you  like  your  lollipop?❞  Of  course,  Melfina  hadn’t  failed  to  buy  Chibi  Chibi  something  sweet—Gene  had  made  it  pretty  clear  the  toddler  had  decimated  their  sugar  supply.

slides into this alternate universe just to see if cosmama will give her a snack...

    she is the divine mother, the light of hope, the last of the moon kingdom, and apparently…a snack giver? as the queen walks through the halls of her palace, she can feel the toddler’s presence even before the familiar tug at her skirt of her dress comes. ❛ chibi chibi… ❜ her voice is soft yet firm, the little girl’s name spoken in the tone of one who was about to find themselves in trouble with their mother. she stops to pause, iridescent eyes finally make their way down towards the child. ❛ i’m starting to believe that you’re solely visiting me for the sweets i bake. ❜ the edges of her lips curve upwards slightly before she reaches down to pick the toddler up.

❛ but…❜ cosmos playfully bops chibi chibi on the nose before she continues to speak, ❛ i think that’s quite alright. at least as long as you help out in the kitchen. ❜ the giggle and clap from the child was all the answer cosmos needed before she snapped her finger, instantly materializing a lollipop in the girl’s hands. while she hadn’t expected a guest today, cosmos destination, the kitchen, remained unchanged as she continued down the long corridor. the queen was surprisingly quite the baker ( which may or may not be a result of trying to satisfy her secret sweet tooth ) and she was highly in the mood for some brownies today.
