Antonio continues gasping for air, tears rolling down his face as he tries to push Monique away; even though she was trying to calm him down. He falls backwards off of the bed as he tries to kick the blankets off of him in a fit of panic. He scrambles backwards until his back is pressed against the wall behind him, breathing heavily and still crying.

Danny really did like hugs, especially when they came from her, but he still had that tough guy reputation to uphold; he couldn’t melt under her touch in front of either one of their coworkers. He smiles at her and nods. “Yeah, but not everyone needs to know it.”

Kelly wipes away the blood from his mouth as she approaches him. He holds up a hand to stop her before he spits blood onto the ground. He smiles a bit at her, approaching her this time. He wraps his arms around her, pressing his cheek against the top of her head. “I’m okay, I promise. Are you okay? He was bigger than you.”
