Two tone gilded #ampersand. A matte center with mirror outline is often referred to as a #BostonGild. And prismatic letters in a two tone gild is called a #ChicagoGild. Usually just with a black outline and/or a block shade. Here the black background is painted first, then I paint the matte parts using 1 Shot fast size with a bit of whiting. And water gild on top of it. Then backing up with metallic brass/gold and then black.
