Last weekend I was in the middle of a very productive retreat with members of the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild. The mini went from drawing and pile of fabric to completed top. And the bottom quilt got laid out and pieced together. And I sewed on other things too!! Stay tuned for Tuesday when I'm on the Back to School Blog Hop hosted by Sam Hunter.
I went on a retreat with the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild this weekend and it was awesome!! I got a little farther on my brother's Roosevelt's necktie quilt, I started a quilt for my sister's wedding, got much farther on my robot army quilt, ate many snacks, drank many drinks, and finally basted my Christmas quilt. Plus I got to enjoy the company and creativity of so many members of my guild.
Bound!! Need to label and take good pics and then I will blog this project for real.
The many homemade quilt possibilities for my bed! The first is my version of Mary Fons' My Dear from her book which I made of Liberty fabrics just for me! The second is the all gray quilt I made for my husband. The third has been on the bed for years, but I love it still anyway.
What I did today! Pin basting is not so much fun.
